In Chistmas time for SONRISA MEDICA
On Alejandra Burgos’s latest album called “OUT OF MY BLUE” you will find the songs that identify her, pure blues and rock that will touch your soul. Here in concert we present this album where tracks such as “Conscience” will also be added, an empathetic, sensitive song composed at home during quarantine, attempting to comprehend the many surprises brewing for all of us during 2020.
The “Vendaval Porteño” will offer us a concert full of energy and contrasts with a profound message that will speak of “Conscience”, underlining the importance of solidarity and changes that we can make together necessary for the future of our environment. The band: Víctor Tugores bass, Sergi Tomás Vidal drumsand Yorick Cheveau guitar.
Each composition is personally identifiable describing games and traps that the mind tends to play on us, keeping us distracted and losing focus of what really matters. During the evening we will be traveling a musical path from calm to the distinct rhythm and emotional power that a Latin temperament radiates. Alejandra’s music has many influences and they are far-ranging including artists such as Foo Fighters, Janis Joplin, The Beatles, Elvis Presley, Susan Tedeschi and Bonnie Raitt.
Alejandra has managed to build an exciting and successful career not only on the Island but into mainland Spain and expanding throughout Europe. Playing at some amazing venue’s like the 100 Club in London and opening for some great artists such as Anastacia on her entire European tour, Alice Cooper in Germany with Fyre Band and Gloria Gaynor and Maceo Parker in Mallorca.
We are waiting for all of you to enjoy this great concert, and we are very happy to announce that with this show a donation of 5eu for a solidarity calendar that you will recieve in the concert, and it will be made to benefit SONRISA MEDICA.
